Most financial institutions that offer On-line and/or Mobile Banking most likely offer a Bill Payer system. Some have their own branded bill payer, others use a third party vendor for this service. You should have a checking account to utilize Bill-Payer. Your financial institution’s website should instruct you as to how you set up the Bill Payer system, which enables you to make bill payments on-line. You have control as to when and how much your bills and/or contributions are to be paid. You can set up weekly, monthly, or one-time payments. As with the Simply Giving Program, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis depending on how you set it up. If you want to send the same amount each week or each month, you can choose a Recurring Payment option. If you want to make a special donation to Advent, you can do so by entering the amount of the donation and the date to be paid.
